Good news, guys! Kristin Dos Santos of E! is reporting that "Gossip Girl" will have a supersized 24 episode second season. There's bad news, too, or at least I think it's bad news: Michelle Trachtenberg is likely to be added as a regular cast member. Yes, I watch Gossip Girl on occasion with my wife. But you can ask her if you want. I tend to keep an eye on it from the dining room table while I write articles like this one.
But I couldn’t help but get blown away by the ending of the last episode. It was like a Lost cliffhanger. They may have well thrown up the trademark Lost “boom” screen that they love to end episodes with. It was that good.
Gossip Girl is kicking butt these days, and is doing so well that The CW has decided to make up for lost strike episodes THIS season by ordering a bloated 24 for the NEXT.
